Culinary adventure for kids, parents at Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort

ABU DHABI, August 16, 2017

Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort recently hosted a series of cooking classes for children along with their parents as part of the Abu Dhabi Summer Season Campaign.

The three-day session of fun-filled cooking classes offered parents and their little chefs quality time to discover their culinary skills and creativity. Held for three consecutive Saturdays, from July 29 to August 13, the kids who were accompanied by their parents attended classes on pizza making, cupcake making and decorating and cookie baking and decorating.

There were around 40 kids per session, aged 12 years and below, who joined the classes. Executive chef Arvind Sharma and his team assisted the children who were all excited to participate in preparing the dough for the pizza, creating the toppings and waiting for the pizza to cook. They all tried and ate the pizza as well as the cookies that they have prepared.

At the conclusion of the classes, each child received a certificate of participation announcing them as “Little Chefs”.

Kevin Lawless, hotel manager of Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, said: “We are so happy to see the excitement on the children’s faces as they participate in the cooking classes. The number of participants increased every week which showed the value of quality time between the parents and their children. The event was so successful so we are looking at organising this activity on winter." - TradeArabia News Service
