Baiguera named GM of Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain

MANAMA, May 30, 2017

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has appointed Pasquale Baiguera as the new general manager of Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain.

This will be Baiguera’s fourth appointment in the Middle East. He joins the award-winning property from the 292-room Mövenpick Hotel Beirut, which he successfully led for three years.

With more than three decades in the hospitality industry, Baiguera brings a wealth of knowledge with a focus on proactive leadership, strategic management, sales skills and revenue development. Apart from his Middle East experience, he has had roles in Denmark, Finland and Italy with other five-star brands.

“I am thrilled to join a thriving property with a strong position in the market. Building on this success by working closely with the hotel’s dedicated team, is a priority,” said Baiguera on his latest appointment.

Just a two-minute walk from Bahrain International Airport, the 106-room Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain is only 15 minutes from the business centre in Manama. It was voted the Middle East’s Best Airport Hotel for three consecutive years by The Skytrax Awards.
