El Ajouz Travel and Sabre officials at the signing ceremony

El Ajouz Travel extends agreement with Sabre

LEBANON, July 14, 2016

Leading Lebanon-based travel agency El Ajouz Travel has renewed its 10-year exclusive relationship with travel technology provider Sabre Travel Network Middle East (STNME) to help pursue its vision to provide more personalised travel experiences.

One of the top five travel agencies in Lebanon, El Ajouz has used Sabre’s technology to shop, book and manage travel for its customers, and to differentiate their travel offerings in a highly competitive market. The agency now wants to leverage Sabre’s new merchandising and content solutions to create more personalised packages for its customers.

“Travel companies that want to stay competitive need to look for ways to differentiate their offerings to increase customer loyalty and generate more revenue.” said Daniel Naoumovitch, CEO, Sabre Travel Network Middle East. “We’ve worked with El Ajouz Travel for more than 10 years and understand their strategy and vision – they make technology investments and business decisions geared at customer loyalty, and we will proudly keep providing the latest technologies and content to achieve their business goals.”

Under this agreement, El Ajouz Travel will continue to get access to Sabre’s marketplace of more than 420 airlines, 750,000 hotel properties, and hundreds of tour operators, rail, car and cruise providers, giving El Ajouz travel the opportunity to sell personalised travel packages from suppliers all over the world. The agency accesses the marketplace through Sabre Red Workspace platform, which provides quick and easy access to low-fare content and travel management capabilities.

“Sabre’s industry-leading shopping and merchandising technology, coupled with their team of experts have played a major role in helping achieve our business goals over the past decade,” said Hasan El Ajouz, Chairman, El Ajouz Travel. “They are a trusted provider, with a passion for innovation and finding creative solutions to our challenges. We look forward to another decade of support from them, and seeing the new version of Sabre Red Workspace that was recently announced.”

Sabre’s new Sabre Red Workspace, announced last month, is set to transform the way retailers and suppliers work together to deliver personalised travel experiences.  Harnessing data analytics, personalization and mobile trends, the new Workspace will provide new data insights, intelligent decision support tools and new merchandising capabilities, along with a more intuitive graphical design. The new solution is set to roll out in the Middle East in 2017. - TradeArabia News Service
