Qatar Airways celebrated 15 successful years of flying to Bahrain by offering its passengers a spectacular arrival at Bahrain's International Airport.

Passengers on board flight QR1102 were welcomed with a water salute and greeted by the entire Qatar Airways Bahrain team and dignitaries from Bahrain's Civil Aviation Authority, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Passengers also received exclusive giveaways to mark the airline's 15-year anniversary in Bahrain.

In addition, travellers and crew waiting to board the return Qatar Airways flight were invited to join a cake-cutting ceremony and enjoy the celebrations organised by the Bahrain Airport Company at Gate 11, where they were joined by VIPs from Bahrain Airport Company, Bahrain Airport Services, Bahrain Airport Security, Civil Aviation Authority and Bahrain Airport Customs and Immigration.
