Ithmaar Bank cardholders will get discounted pricing for Gulf Air online ticket purchases, following the signing of an agreement between the two organisations.

The agreement was signed by Gulf Air acting chief financial officer Sahar Ataei and Ithmaar Bank general manager for retail and private banking Abdul Hakeem Al Mutawa, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

The Bahrain-based Islamic retail bank's debit and credit card holders will receive a 10 per cent discount when purchasing tickets on the national carrier's website, www.gulfair.com.

The offer is applicable on both Falcon Gold (business) and economy class fares and is valid for all tickets purchased using a special discount code that will be distributed to all Ithmaar Bank cardholders.

The joint promotion is valid until February 28 next year. - TradeArabia News Service
