ExecuJet Dubai unit secures EASA extension

ExecuJet Middle East said its maintenance facility in Dubai, has got an extension to its EASA approval for the Hawker 400XP, 7, 8, 9 Series and 4000 aircraft and GCAA approval for Hawker 8, 9 series and 4000 aircraft.

Headquartered in Zürich, Switzerland, ExecuJet has operations in six regions – Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

“We are really pleased to have received these approvals which enhance our overall capabilities in terms of offering Hawker support to the regional operators,” remarked Nick Weber, ExecuJet Middle East maintenance director.

'Our maintenance facility in Dubai has significantly expanded lately and this additional certification will further improve the services that we can provide to our clients,' he noted.

ExecuJet ME operates one of the largest business aviation maintenance facilities in Dubai and last year more than doubled their maintenance capacity with the addition of a second hangar.

The facility now employs a team of over 135 maintenance staff certified to look after Hawker, Bombardier, Embraer, Gulfstream and Pilatus aircraft.

In addition to the EASA and GCAA approval extensions, the Dubai facility has been awarded an Indian DGCA 145 approval and is also an Authorised Service Facility for Bombardier, Embraer and Gulfstream.-TradeArabia News Service
