Nasair to launch India operations

Saudi-based low-cost carrier Nasair is launching its India operations in a big way starting with four weekly flights to Mumbai this week followed by services to Kochi, Kozhikode and Delhi in the coming months.
A subsidiary of the Saudi National Air Services (NAS) based in Riyadh, Nasair said it is offering a special fare to celebrate the Mumbai launch with prices starting from SR250 ($66.6).
The debut flight will take off from Riyadh on Wednesday (March 31) at 10.20pm (local time) and land in Mumbai at 5am. The return flight will leave Mumbai on April 1 at 5.55am and arrive in Riyadh at 07.35am (local time), Nasair said in a statement.
It will fly Riyadh to Mumbai on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, while on return, the carrier will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The Saudi carrier is also gearing up to start flights to the south Indian state of Kerala beginning with Kochi in June and Calicut in July. This will be followed by flights to the country's capital Delhi in August, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
