Huawei recently launched its new smartphone, Huawei P30 Pro, which features the world’s first Leica quad camera and a powerful processor and battery.

 

The 40MP main is equipped with SuperSpectrum Sensor. It lets 40 per cent more light in which then eliminate the need for additional lighting. The 20MP ultra-wide angle lens on the Huawei P30 Pro can be used to take wide shots without cropping. The P30 Pro’s 8MP telephoto lens has Huawei SuperZoom lens and can zoom up to 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom as well as 50x digital zoom. With added optical image stabilisation (OIS) technology, the pictures or videos captured do not look blurry or noisy so that one can snap pictures of faraway objects without worrying about a blurry image.

 

Huawei P30 Pro is also equipped with time of flight or ToF camera. It blurs all objects behind the subject for a stunning bokeh effect, ensuring that the focus subject is the solo highlight in background and foreground.

 

The phone also has a dual-view video feature where the phone uses multiple cameras to record a wide-angle and a close-up shot at the same time. This feature will be enabled via HOTA update at a later date, said a statement from Huawei.

 

The Huawei P30 Pro comes with a long-lasting battery and the Kirin 980 processor which helps to give the device a smoother and faster performance. It has a massive 4,200mAh battery with 40W Huawei SuperCharge that can charge the device up to 70 per cent in 30 minutes. The Huawei P30 Pro also comes with a wireless reverse charging technology. With this feature the device can charge another phone provided it supports the Qi Wireless Charging Standard. The Kirin 980, Huawei’s fastest chipset, makes the phone run faster without draining the battery, said the statement.

 

The Huawei P30 Pro has a 6.47 inch full view display that houses the Huawei Acoustic Display Technology and an in-screen fingerprint sensor that takes away the need for speaker grill or a home button, further slimming bezels and enhancing viewing experience.
