Watchmaking expo opens in Riyadh

RIYADH, April 18, 2018

Salon des Grandes Complications, a fine watchmaking exhibition offering a unique and exclusive social platform for horology enthusiasts opened on April 16 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Inaugurated by Prince Sultan bin Saud bin Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Al Faisaliah Hotel, the second edition of the exhibition will run until April 19.

Following the opening press conference, Prince Sultan bin Saud bin Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was invited for a tour to visit each of the celebrated watchmaking companies and learn about their highly acclaimed mechanical masterpieces.

Both traditional maisons and niche independent companies are participating in Salon des Grandes Complications, such as Armand Nicolet, Armin Strom, Blancpain, Breguet, Breitling, Czapek, Fabergé, Franck Muller, Girard-Perregaux, Greubel Forsey, Harry Winston, Hysek, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Panerai, Quinting, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron Constantin and Zenith, with retailers Alfardan Jewellery, Abdullah Said Binzagr Jewellery & Watches, Paris Gallery and Platinum Sands.

Salon des Grandes Complications’ next stop will be in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The 7th edition of the exhibition will be held along with the International Jewellery and Watch Show at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from October 25 to 29. – TradeArabia News Service
