Big Boys Toys features platform for women

ABU DHABI, November 24, 2016

The seventh edition of Big Boys Toys, a premier luxury, innovations and technology expo, is for the first time featuring Woman’s World, a platform for lifestyle brands, products and services dedicated to women.

Visitors of the exhibition can dress to impress and win prizes worth Dh20,000 ($5,440). The competition will select the most glamorous and stylish visitors and will have two categories: The Most Stylish Man & The Most Stylish Woman. The judges panel comprises of opinion leaders from influential backgrounds including fashion, regional and international media.

Some of the prizes that are included in the winners’ package are: Cruise along Dubai Marina from Royal Yachts worth over Dh2,500; Zero Halliburton Trolley luggage’s, each worth over Dh2,000 from Advance Investment; Figurative Bronze Nanimals/coins from Nano Arts worth over Dh10,000; Kaya Skin Care vouchers worth Dh3,400; Rotana Hotel dinner, spa and night stay vouchers worth over Dh5,000.

The addition of Woman’s World was made specifically to cater to women who form 40 per cent of the supershow’s visitor profile, offering them a more tailored experience. The feature offers a unique shopping experience for the female visitor to gain exclusive access to the world’s most unique and luxurious products. The platform will feature exhibitors ranging from fashion, jewellery, beauty, travel, interiors, lifestyle and wellness.

The organizers have confirmed the attendance of upscale couturier Shaira Fashion Boutique, designer Kubra Al Qaseer – the region’s most sought after name in traditional fashion especially for Arab women and world renowned luxury jewellers Jacob Albee, Theodoros, and Sadaff Jewellery. To add to the impressive line-up are MIAIM miniatures, specialized in modern furniture, bathroom fittings and premium doll houses, Blinga Design, creating the world's most exclusive shoes and handbags and Mounia Paris, manufacturer of hand-painted bottles & niche perfumes.

Biju Jayaraaj, CEO of Artaaj, organizers of the supershow, stated: “The UAE leads the segment within the region as it ranks amongst the top 5 countries worldwide with consumer purchasing power for luxury products.
