UAE developer to showcase new mall projects

UAE-based mall developer Line Investments & Property will be showcasing its new projects - Avenues Mall Sharjah and Avenues Mall Silicon Oasis - at the upcoming annual RECon ME & North Africa convention to be held in Dubai, UAE.

To run from November 1 to 3, the convention is an annual gathering of a regional body representing shopping mall owners, developers and suppliers in the Middle East and India.

It offers a platform for networking between industry leaders in shopping centres and related service providers.

Line Investments & Property, the shopping mall development and management arm of the Abu Dhabi-based Lulu Group International, oversees the operations of a line-up of malls in the Middle East and India.

A senior management delegation will be at the convention to showcase the new shopping malls - Avenues Mall Sharjah and Avenues Mall Silicon Oasis, said a statement from the company.

The 43,000-sq-m Avenues Mall Sharjah will provide unique mid-range retail to suit the relevant catchment area profile with a premium food and beverage, leisure and entertainment experience.

The community mall will boast a 16,000-sq-m hypermarket, 4,000-sq-m department store, a 4,000-sq-m cinema, a 3,600-sq-m family entertainment centre and a parking lot for 2,100 vehicles, said the statement.

A major highlight of the development will be the food street experience, it added.

The 72,000-sq-m Avenues Mall Silicon Oasis is designed as a premium retail and leisure destination offering easy accessibility to the neighbouring communities, said a senior official.

"With a user-friendly layout, 3,600 parking spaces and a comprehensive retail mix, Avenues Mall Silicon Oasis offers a one-stop solution to the needs of the neighbourhood patrons," remarked Marcello Larizza, the general manager at Line Investments & Property.

"Promoting Avenues Mall Sharjah, Avenues Mall Silicon Oasis and Mall of Umm Al Quwain, at the convention offer us the right platform to showcase the new exceptional projects in our mall portfolio," he added.

These projects are being designed by London-based Design International.

The team’s accumulated experience in development, leasing and management, under the leadership of the division director Salim MA, ensures that the organization presents contemporary projects with modern designs, cohesive retail mix, excellent accessibility and ample parking space.
