Blue Star launches new split AC range

Mumbai, March 29, 2011

Mumbai-based Blue Star, a leading air conditioning and commercial refrigeration company, has launched inverter split ACs in 1, 1.5 and 2 ton capacities.

Inverter ACs are incorporated with inverter technology in which the compressor changes its frequency according to the ambient load and delivers adequate cooling as per the requirement.

For instance a 1.5 ton Inverter AC can decrease its capacity to 1 ton or increase its capacity to 1.75 tons. This eliminates any temperature fluctuations and helps maintain a comfortable temperature in the room, a statement said.

These ACs save up to 30 per cent more power compared to non-inverter split ACs, it added.

These ACs are also incorporated with an advanced feature called ‘I Feel’, which is designed to offer maximum comfort to the user.

The remote control comes fitted with a mini sensor which senses the surrounding temperature and transmits the signal back to the indoor unit. The indoor unit then adjusts the temperature accordingly, ensuring an appropriate temperature around the user and not the unit, thus optimising user comfort.

The Blue Star inverter split AC also comes with a special heat pump that's useful during severe winters. The ACs use the latest environment-friendly refrigerant R410A, that has almost nil ozone-depleting substances, making the AC healthy for the environment too, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
