HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received several mothers of martyrs and women representing various institutions, at the Sea Palace in Abu Dhabi, marking Emirati Women's Day (August 28).

He said that the UAE is proud of the mothers of its martyrs, as they are honourable role models for Emirati daughters, because of their sacrifice and loyalty to the nation, a Wam news agency report said.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed added that the mothers of martyrs have shown the nation the finest example, and have taught it valuable lessons in love and sacrifice. - Image courtesy: Wam.
