Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, said its chief financial officer Ali Al Baqali was a panellist for a session at the 8th International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom 2017, currently ongoing in Russia.

Al Baqali was a panellist for the session “Aluminum industry in the era of Industry 4.0”, said a statement from the company.

The event, which kicked off on July 10, will conclude tomorrow (July 13), at Yekaterinburg.

Al Baqali presented a paper on ‘Alba in the Heart of Manufacturing Industries’ where he spoke about the company’s journey and the Line 6 Expansion Project.

He also highlighted in his paper the history of Bahrain’s manufacturing industries and the profiles of the most important companies within the aluminium sector in Bahrain, it said.

Al Baqali said: “It is a pleasure to highlight the success story of our company and share insights into the values that helped in carving its status as one of the world’s leading aluminium smelters.”

“Through a mind-set of continuous improvement and responsible safety culture, we will continue with the same commitment on the mega Line 6 Expansion Project, which will make Alba the world’s largest single-site smelter,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
