Saudi Arabia-based Acwa Power has recently won the market for solar park Noor Ouarzazate’s 4th phase of development in Morocco, a report said.

Noor Ouarzazate currently produces 160 MW of energy during the day and has a stock capacity of 3 hours overnight, reported Morocco World News, citing Medias24.

Acwa’s win is far from surprising as Acwa Power’s participation in Noor Ouarzazate’s development has been significant so far. They had won the markets for phases 1, 2 and 3 of development, the report said.

Noor Ouarzazate’s fourth phase will consist in the development of photovoltaic technology that should have a capacity of 135 MW, according to the report.
