Kia among top 100 brands

Kia Motors Corporation, a leading automobile manufacturer, has been featured on Interbrand’s exclusive list for ‘100 Best Global Brands', coming in at rank 74.

Interbrand, a leading brand consultancy, has named Kia in its list for the fourth consecutive year, said a statement from the company.

Interbrand attributes Kia’s success to ‘excellent design, high quality and innovative brand management in the global markets’, it said.

Kia’s commercial performance in the past calendar year is admirable given the challenging economic climate around the world. The manufacturer saw its brand value increase of 5 per cent, this sustained growth gives Kia a current estimated value of $5.7 billion, it added.

The company’s total brand value has grown a remarkable 530 per cent since 2007, said the statement.

Alex Chung, president of Kia Motors Middle East and Africa regional headquarters, said: “We are very proud to be featured as one of top 100 global brands for 2015, such an honourable recognition is an incredible motivation for us to raise the bar for ourselves every year.”

“The most satisfying aspect of being included in this list along with other great global brands is the fact that it proves the customer response to our products are extremely positive.
