A new compact hand blender from Moulinex, which allows for 15 different food preparations, is set to conquer the UAE after a very successful sweep of European countries.

The handy Click & Mix hand blender has a 'easy to change' attachment which helps in mincing,  emulsifying, crushing ice, chopping (herbs, meat and Fish), mixing and blending.

The Click and Mix comes with four attachments allowing for quickly changing blades without removing the foot of the gadget and actually touching the blades as an added safety precaution. It allows homemakers to prepare different kinds of recipes in no time at all depending on the attachments chosen, said a company representative.

The attachments come in four different colours with lengthened patented blades allowing for easy food processing.

The green blade is ideal to prepare delicious soups, mayonnaises (whole egg), waffle dough, pancake dough, custard tart and milk-shakes.

'The red attachment is ideal to chop white or red, raw and cooked meat, stewed fruit, parsley, garlic, onions, baby food and  gruyere cheese while the yellow spiral blade is apt for preparation of beaten egg whites and whipped cream.'

The blue blade comes handy in crushing ice to serve with cocktails and to prepare delicious gazpacho  (the popular Spanish dish).

In addition, tools’ colors are marked on the hand blender with a drawing of the different mixtures next to each tool, to remind users of each tool’s function. The blender ships with a 0.8 litres goblet, he said.

The four blades and blender foot are organized in a storage box to prevent injury when rummaging through a drawer in the case of loose blades, he explained.

The Click and Mix, available in metal and plastic versions, comes in two different models - DD 500 (450 watt-two-speed model) and DD 702 (600-watt model) with 16 speed variator.
