Ahmedia Art Gallery, which promotes international art while also representing the emirate’s true cultural heritage, will hold a special art show from December 1, to mark the UAE National Day celebrations.

The National Pride Art Exhibition, under the theme “Visions of the UAE in 2020” will run till December 7 and present the works of local artists at the gallery in Ahmedia Guest House in Deira, said a statement.

A group of artists will join hands together on the opening night to paint their collective visions for the future of the UAE on a wall panel, it said.

Habib Khan, general manager and CEO Hospitality Division of Planet Group, said: “All artists are coming together to capture the Arabic fabric of culture, customs, landmarks and hope of a brighter future in their canvases. It’s a free entry and all are welcome to visit and celebrate the nation’s birthday with colour and creativity at Ahmedia Guest House; this event is organized by Women 2 Women events." - TradeArabia News Service
