Bahrain airshow tickets selling fast

Tickets for Bahrain International Airshow 2012, set to take place at the Sakhir Airbase from January 19 to 21, 2012, are selling fast at all Batelco Retail Shops.
After the success of the inaugural event in January 2010, there is an increase in demand for tickets for Bias 2012, a statement from the telecommunications company said.
Bahrain’s leading integrated communications provider is a major sponsor of the event for the second time.
Adult tickets are priced at BD7 ($18.62) per day with tickets for children, up to 15 years of age, priced at BD3 ($7.98). Discount of 5 percent is available on the purchase of 20 or more tickets, of any type and for any of the three dates.
The tickets are for entrance to the public area which will feature viewing stands and a wide range of entertainment and dining options. All visitors must park their cars at the Bahrain International Circuit where shuttle buses will be available to transport them to the airshow.
Visitors can experience a high speed jet experience in a cutting edge flight simulator. Two simulators, which hold up to 10 people each, are being shipped in for the occasion from the UK, the statement said.
An additional seven attractions are arriving from the UK as part of an inflatable fun zone to cater to children of all ages including the water balls experience which will enable visitors to walk, run and collide on water inside giant inflated balls, it said.
