WiFi UAE rolls out free service in Ras Al Khaimah

RAS AL KHAIMAH, March 26, 2017

Residents of Ras Al Khaimah can reap the benefits of WiFi UAE as it rolls out its free service at Al Naeem Mall and Al Naeem City Center in the UAE emirate.
 
From this month, mall visitors have access to the Internet through two options: WiFi UAE, a free WiFi service, and WiFi UAE Premium, an affordable paid service that allows users unrestricted upload and download speed. 
 
All visitors to Al Naeem Mall and Al Naeem City Center will need to do to avail the free public wifi is log on to the service using any UAE mobile number and choose between the two options for instant access to high speed Internet to browse, chat, and stream videos, said a statement.
 
Speaking of the success of the rollout, Jihad Tayara, vice president business development and partnerships, du said: “We are pleased to spread happiness through innovation and connectivity throughout the UAE by rolling out free wi-fi access for all – regardless of their mobile service provider. Today’s rollout marks an important step in our quest to support the UAE government in achieving country-wide wi-fi access in line with Vision 2021.”

Expanding its footprint to enhance happiness through connectivity, WiFi UAE has seen users throughout the UAE take advantage of its public wi-fi offering, as the service celebrated a milestone 1.3 million sessions in October.  
 
Du has introduced WiFi UAE in a number of high footfall areas including RTA serviced areas such as the Dubai Metro and Tram, malls, Emaar Boulevard Downtown Dubai and Global Village, to name a few.
