Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has announced that its board of directors, at a meeting held yesterday (April 30), decided the distribution of SR962.5 million ($256.6 million) as interim cash dividend for the first quarter of 2014.

The dividend will be distributed as follows: SR1.25 per share representing 12.5 per cent of the nominal value of the share,. a statement said.

Shareholders registered in the registers of the Securities Depository Center (Tadawul) at the end of the trading day on May 6, 2014 are eligible for the dividend.

Dividend Payment date will be May 13 and the disbursement shall be through direct deposit into the bank accounts linked to the investment portfolios of the shareholders, it said.

Etihad Etisalat had announced earlier the interim financial results for the first quarter with net profit of SR1,400 million, compared to SR1,340 million for the same period of last year. - TradeArabia News Service
