Two major Africa-based subsidiaries of Etisalat, UAE’s leading telecom service provider, have joined hands with Facebook to offer customers a Facebook mobile application on Java-based feature phones.

This experience will enable customers of Etisalat Misr and Etisalat Nigeria to save more on mobile Internet package, downloads without incurring any data charges.

The Facebook for Every Phone application provides a unique yet faster Facebook experience for feature phones than those of similar applications and mobile sites.

It carries Facebook’s most popular features and user experience to a wide range of Java handsets, on an optimized speed and exceptional network performance via Etisalat`s Group network across 18 countries round the world.
