Nawras wins award for customer service

Nawras, a leading telecoms service provider in Muscat which is majority owned by Qatar Telecom (Qtel), was awarded ‘Best Customer Service Provider of the Year 2010’ at the CommsMEA Awards in Dubai.

This is the second year in a row that Nawras has won this accolade.

CommsMEA “Customer Service Provider of the Year” is the only award category to be nominated and voted for by members of the public. More than two million customers have chosen Nawras as their provider.

In total, three members of the Qtel Group picked up major awards at the prestigious industry event in Dubai. In addition to Nawras being honoured, Qtel was named ‘Best New Telecoms Service’, while Wataniya received the ‘CommsMEA Editor's Award for Outstanding Achievement.’

CommsMEA is a prime source of telecom news for the industry in the Mena region and serves to keep communication professionals abreast of all the latest developments in this rapidly changing sector.

This latest recognition for Nawras follows a number of awards received in 2010 including ‘Excellence in Branding and Marketing’, ‘Asia’s Best Employer Brand Award’ and Leader in Telecommunications’.-TradeArabia News Service
