KPMG in Bahrain expands its tax and corporate services

MANAMA, September 1, 2020

KPMG in Bahrain has announced the appointment of an additional Tax Partner and new experienced resources to broaden the capabilities of the Tax and Corporate Services team and continue to provide businesses with innovative solutions for their critical business needs. 
 
Effective September 1, 2020, Mubeen Khadir joins KPMG in Bahrain as Tax Partner leading the Tax and Corporate Services team along with KPMG’s Head of Tax and Corporate Services, Philippe Norre.
 
With this expansion, KPMG in Bahrain continues to lead and optimise their offerings of value-added tax (VAT) outsourcing, tax technology solutions and address specific tax requirements at an industry and sector level including the banking, insurance, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, export & import and oil & gas industry. The growth includes the launch of an enhanced ‘Managed Services’ Centre of Excellence (tax, accounting, payroll and back-office function support), catering to the growing needs of businesses as they recover and emerge through the pandemic.
 
Khadir previously led and managed the tax team at another Bahrain-based consulting firm. Prior to that, he was member of the KPMG family in Saudi Arabia. Mubeen is a seasoned expert in the field of tax, serving clients in Bahrain and across the GCC region for several years focused on corporate, international tax, transfer pricing and VAT advisory.
 
The team will also take on an additional eight experts making the team the largest, most diverse and experienced service provider in the kingdom. In addition to Arabic and English, the team can provide professional support to clients in an additional fifteen languages.
