National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri), a leader in logistics and transportation, recently won the ‘Ship Operator Award’ and ‘The Lloyd’s List Intelligence Innovation Award’ at the Lloyd’s List South Asia, Middle East & Africa Awards 2017.

Bahri was also honoured with the ‘Transport Company of the Year Award’ at MEED Awards 2017, said a statement from the company.

Abdulkarim Al Abdulkarim, senior chartering manager, ?Bahri Oil, and Almohaned Alshathre, Bahri’s PR manager, accepted the awards on behalf of Bahri, it said.

The 2017 Lloyd’s List South Asia, Middle East & Africa awards ceremony was held at ?the Palazzo Versace Dubai, while MEED Awards 2017 were held at Conrad Dubai, both in the presence of industry stalwarts, high-profile executives, and maritime sector leaders, it added.

Ali Al Harbi, acting chief executive officer of Bahri, said: “It has been a tremendous year for our company with a number of remarkable achievements and major accomplishments.”
