BDP International to open new office in Morocco

RABAT, June 16, 2016

US-based BDP International, a global logistics and transportation corporation, plans to open its first office in Morocco this month, said a report.

The company’s customers based in Europe and the US consider Morocco a safe haven in North Africa with huge potential for additional business growth, Fikret Ersoy, head of North Africa and Turkey, BDP International, was quoted as saying in a Morocco World News report.

The company recognises the significant opportunity for expansion in the country, he said.

Casablanca, Morocco’s largest port and city, is the economic capital of the kingdom.

The Casablanca location is expected to provide: chemical/petrochemical, healthcare, energy, retail, oil and gas, and automotive industry customers with a wide array of services including: ocean/air export and import; export/import customs clearance; project logistics; ground transport; and warehousing/distribution.
