Warehouse....built to meet global storage standards
ExtraSpace Self-Storage opens in Dubai
DUBAI, May 25, 2015
ExtraSpace Self-Storage, a brand new self-storage facility located in Al Quoz, Dubai, has opened its doors to Dubai residents.
The 23,000-sq-ft, fully air-conditioned warehouse boasts one-of-a-kind self-storage units built to meet global storage standards, and are offered to UAE residents at an affordable cost, said a statement.
Each of its personal storage units are stainless steel lockable units, AC ventilated, with individual access keys and alarm systems to ensure the full safety of personal items. With security and cleaning staff on hand 24/7, such security measures and cleanliness standards are the first of their kind in Dubai, it said.
Ayman Chihabi, chief executive officer, said: “The UAE is a global hub for highly mobile professionals and fast growing businesses, which makes it an excellent market for world-class storage facilities like ExtraSpace Self-Storage.
“Today in Dubai, personal warehousing and storage facilities are scarce or fully booked, and you will find a huge variance in quality of service. Therefore there is a huge unmet need in Dubai for self-storage services.”
As part of its launch, ExtraSpace Self Storage is offering its services at promotional rates to encourage residents to book a space, said the statement.
“We are offering up to 50 per cent off on our individual storage units for long term contracts. We offer a great solution for Dubai residents to create some extra space in their homes, and put away some of the items they don’t need,” added Chihabi.
ExtraSpace Self-Storage has also listed its services on MoveSouq.com, a Dubai-based portal that connects residents with moving and storage services in the UAE.
Bana Shomali, chief executive officer, MoveSouq.com, said: “At MoveSouq.com, we continuously search for professional companies to whom we recommend our clients.
“We are extremely excited to work with ExtraStorage Self Storage given that they offer fantastic value for money for our clients.” - TradeArabia News Service
