Alba to allocate output for domestic use
Manama, April 26, 2014
Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) is planning to allocate a large part of its additional output to meet growing domestic demand and investors' needs, a report said.
The scheme is part of expansion of its sixth production line, scheduled to be completed by next year, reports our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
Mumtalakat, holder of Bahrain's stake in Alba, is now studying opportunities to forge a partnership with potential investors as part of efforts to boost national economic development.
A group of MPs had submitted a proposal urging Alba to give priority to the local market. – TradeArabia News Service
