Sabic showcases steel products at Riyadh expo

Saudi Basic Industries Corp showcased its wide range of steel products for the building and construction sector at the Metal & Steel Saudi Arabia 2014 exhibition held recently in Riyadh.
The company's products on display included its portfolio of long and flat steel which are widely used in the local and regional markets, besides global construction projects.
Abdulaziz Al-Humaid, executive vice president, Metals SBU, said: “We are a reliable, customer-focused supplier in both the long and flat steel markets and pride ourselves of being one of the largest steel producers in the region.”
Sabic’s wholly owned Jubail-based affiliate, Saudi Iron and Steel Company (Hadeed), has developed a wide portfolio of steel products including steel rebar, wire rod, hot-rolled coils, cold-rolled coils, galvanized coil, and colour-coated coils, he added.
More than 200 companies from 16 countries took part in the exhibition featuring key products related to the metals industry such as iron and steel, metal pipes, steel structures, metal castings, steel manufacturing machinery and furnaces, as well as technologies relating to the iron and steel industry. - TradeArabia News Service
