Bahrain-based Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) said it has achieved a daily production rate of 2,039 tonnes of urea – the highest since it began operations in 1998.

Company president Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery announced this at a ceremony held in the company’s industrial complex.
