Kuwaiti logistics group Agility said on Wednesday it has appointed Tarek Sultan as chief executive officer while naming Hanadi Al-Saleh as chairwoman of the board.

Sultan, who was previously the chairman and managing director, will take up the position of deputy chairman while leading Agility's business operations, a company statement to Kuwait's stock exchange said.

Agility said the change will bring it into compliance with the new commercial law and the corporate governance regulations set by Kuwait's Capital Markets Authority, which requires companies to have separate chairman and CEO. - Reuters
