The agreement was signed at a ceremony in Dubai by Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, director general of TRA and Saeed Fadhel Al Mazrooei, president and CEO of Emal. 

 

Under the MoU, Emal will cooperate with aeCERT (TRA’s Emergency Response Computer Centre) to share information in areas of information security and proactive cyber defence. 

 

The MoU allows for the exchange of security research and analysis information between Emal and aeCERT and includes consultation, security awareness, monitoring and response, as well as advisory services by aeCERT for security incidents, including domestic and international cyber security threat awareness.

Emal is committed to securing its information systems against today’s sophisticated cyber threats, our cooperation with the TRA and the aeCERT will enable us to deal with the evolving cyber threat landscape,” said Saeed Fadhel Al Mazrooei, president and CEO of Emal. 

 

The MoU is in line with the Emal’s objectives to continuously boost its information security capabilities and enhance the overall awareness of global malicious cyber activities and advanced persistent threats.
