Emirati-owned Geoscience Testing Laboratory wins global award

Emirati-owned Geoscience Testing and Laboratory has been recognized as the Best Microbiology Testing Facility in the UAE in the recent International Life Sciences Awards by the UK-based Global Health and Pharma (GHP) magazine.
GTL is a member of UAE-based Prime Group, a leading quality and compliance solutions provider in Middle East and North Africa and Asia region.
GTL registered a growing interest among businesses to comply with international standards of safety, particularly in the sanitation and hygiene sector, said the company in a statement.
The laboratory supported businesses involved in manufacturing products that are recognized to help curb the spread of Covid-19.
The laboratory, having five facilities in the UAE, is approved, and accredited by the government to conduct efficacy testing of hand sanitizers, hand scrubs, germicidal liquids, and surface sanitizers. These are products that play a significant part in the efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19, he added.
The award comes at a time when the world faces a global pandemic that has put pressure on the health and safety of people.
