DHA replaces printed licences with digitalised e-Licences

DUBAI, June 25, 2020

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced that printed healthcare professionals’ licence cards will be replaced by digitalised e-Licences for healthcare professionals. This is part of the authority’s continuous efforts to implement Dubai’s Paperless Strategy by utilising the latest technology to achieve customer happiness.

Dr Hisham Al Hammadi, Director of Health Licensing at DHA said that replacing printed cards with digital ones will reduce time to obtain the licence from five days to getting it immediately. It also helps reduce possibility of loss or damage and reduces cost and waste.

He added that verifying the details of the e-Licence can be done through the free online verification service -  available on the Sheryan licensing system - by entering the licence barcode and pin number, or by checking the professional’s details through Dubai Medical Registry.

He stressed that the DHA strives to continue on providing customers with services that exceeds their expectations and achieves their satisfaction.-- Tradearabia News Service
