Ebrahim K Kanoo, the sole distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Bahrain, recently honoured the head of the Body Department at Al Jabriya Secondary Technical Boys School in recognition of his outstanding efforts in the apprenticeship programme.

Talal Kanoo, director of Corporate Affairs at Ebrahim K Kanoo reiterated the management continuous support for the Apprenticeship Programme supervised by Jamil Al-Saffar.

The Apprenticeship Programme started in 2002 with a group of students from the Body and Paint Department at Al Jabriya School and since then Ebrahim K Kanoo has employed a large number of these talented students.

Jamil Al-Saffar expressed his appreciation to Ebrahim K Kanoo management for their unremitting support to ensure the best practices and techniques are available for the students.

Mohammed Siddiqui, director of the Technical and Vocational Education Directorate at the Ministry of Education said that the ministry puts high priority on supporting such programmes that guarantees highly skilled workforces.

The ceremony was attended by Ebrahim K Kanoo officials, Mike Brightmore, chief executive officer, Mohammed Al-Nasser, director of Human Resources and Administration and AbdulAmeer Darwish, manager of Learning and Development. – TradeArabia News Service
