Batelco presents scholarships to 10 students

Batelco, Bahrain's leading telecoms service provider, has awarded scholarships to ten students, who are all children of Batelco employees.
The winners were selected based on their high level of attainment in their final high school examinations (Tawjihehia), a statement said.
The winning students are Fatima Habib Hussain Moh’d, Zainab Hussain Ali Alsaffar, Maryam Sameera Ahmed, Hassan A. Jalil Salman, Jaber Adel Ahmed Moh’d, Abdulla Moosa Sharaf, S. Alawi S. Adnan Ali Jawad, Adel Ahmed Salman, Ali Mohammed Abbas Hussain and Ameer Mohamood Alzeera.
The university scholarships will cover the cost of three to five years of enrolment at the University of Bahrain or for the first time, Bahrain Polytechnic.
Over 100 children of employees have benefited from the program so far.
“Batelco is very much committed to this scholarship programme which was developed to provide educational support for some of our employees’ brightest and most dedicated student children,” said Batelco general manager Human Resources Bahrain, Suhaila Alnowakhda.
“We are proud to be instrumental in preparing young Bahrainis to be future leaders in a variety of disciplines in the Kingdom of Bahrain,” she added.-TradeArabia News Service
