Gulf Bank achieves 80pc Kuwaitisation

Gulf Bank, Kuwait’s leading commercial bank, has announced that 80 per cent of the bank’s branch employees are Kuwaiti and 43 of its 47 branches across Kuwait (90 per cent of its branches) have a Kuwaiti branch manager.

“This is a significant  accomplishment for the bank which has had a long-term strategy of recruiting and developing Kuwaiti talent, and of investing in community initiatives that encourage young people to join the banking sector”, said the Ali Al-Rashaid Al-Bader, chairman of Gulf Bank.

Over  310 new Kuwaiti employees have been hired by Gulf Bank since the beginning of the year in various departments including retail, operations, IT, HR and marketing with continuing job opportunities open to professional Kuwaitis, who would like to have a challenging career with Gulf Bank.
