Seminar to spotlight organization effectiveness

More than 50 delegates from leading organizations in Qatar will discuss ways to enhance the organization effectiveness at a breakfast seminar being held in Doha on Tuesday.

Sponsored by audit, tax and advisory firm, KPMG, the seminar will focus on effective nationalization, preparing the organization for 2022 and other important people issues facing Qatar.

'Many questions are currently being raised about how to respond to the growth opportunities and the nature of competition in Qatar in the years to come. The seminar is aimed at finding answers to some of these questions,' said KPMG Qatar’s advisory partner, Rajesh Menon.

Human resources, Menon stated, is widely recognized as fundamental to organizational strategy and seen as a key and leading determinant for companies in Qatar who are preparing for challenges ahead.

“Businesses in Qatar are demonstrating greater focus on people strategy, one of the most significant drivers for enhancing shareholder value,” Menon noted.

Kanchan Ghoshal, director, People and Change Advisory, pointed out that organization strategy linked people strategy and effective nationalization were key to increasing organization effectiveness in Qatar.

Kanchan is set to cover these topics during the seminar while facilitating discussions and insights from the invited guests.

Alasdair Campbell, head of Executive Search and Selection, KPMG in Qatar and Bahrain, will discuss how organizations need to prepare for the upcoming FIFA 2022 World Cup from a recruitment perspective.-TradeArabia News Service
