SSH, a leading master planning, infrastructure, building design and construction supervision firm in the region, said it has been awarded the consultancy contract for the J1 Beach project, located in the suburb of of Jumeirah 1 in Dubai.

 

As per the contract awarded by Merex Investment Group, the UAE-based joint venture of Dubai Holdings, SSH will be the lead consultant on the project, delivering design and construction supervision.

 

The J1 Beach forms a section of two Dubai Development Authority (DDA) plots, which comprise a total area of 103,550 sq m. 

 

Construction work has already begun in the area, with the new destination set to welcome guests by the year-end, said a company spokesman.

 

"On completion, the J1 Beach will feature three beach clubs, all with regional and international acclaim behind them, and 10 upscale, licensed restaurants where guests can dine with stunning sea views from sunrise to sunset," he stated.

 

"The new J1 Beach is set to replace La Mer South as the region’s flagship beach destination, offering visitors a unique and unforgettable experience by the beach," he added.
