Byrne Equipment Rental hosts product open day in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, March 24, 2022

Byrne Equipment Rental said it had successfully organised an in-person product open day last week at its Abu Dhabi facilities located in the heart of Musaffah, after almost two years of restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
 
A leading supplier of rental equipment including power solutions in the GCC, Byrne has 20 operational bases, a fleet of well over 14,000 items of plant and a team of 1500+ people. 
 
It offers high quality equipment rental solutions to a broad variety of sectors including but not limited to: oil and gas, construction and infrastructure, events, industrial and manufacturing, retail and commercial and marine and ports throughout the GCC.  
 
Steve Caygill, Regional General Manager UAE and Oman and Group Head – Specialist Divisions, said:
"Doors opened at 9am, and clients were invited to come along and view Byrne’s extensive range of equipment that was on display, inclusive of Diesel and Hybrid Generators, Cargo Containers, Temporary Buildings, Hoist & Access and more." 
 
The outdoor display of equipment, he stated, was designed as a walk-through, enabling clients to move freely around the site and view the items up close and personal.
 
Refreshments were served inside one of the temporary building units which had been set up to showcase a mess hall, enabling visitors to experience the product in its entirety, he noted. 
 
Furthermore, clients also had a chance to try out some of the equipment as the team were able to demonstrate the efficiency of some of the machines, namely the hoists and mast climber, showcasing the ease of access for servicing and the benefits of the units. 
 
"It has been fantastic to finally host an on-site, in-person event in our yard after almost 2 years of restrictions due to the pandemic," remarked Caygill.
 
"To be able to showcase our equipment to clients in this way is invaluable as it demonstrates our full product offering and enables our sales team to inform our clients on a more personal level of new products coupled to our existing offering," he added. 
 
Caygill said it had also been a great opportunity to showcase the capabilities of Byrne equipment - for example our Temporary Buildings. 
 
"The team prepared a variety of internal configurations and different set-ups to showcase the diversity of the units and we were able to showcase medical facilities, VIP and junior sleeper accommodation, kitchen and catering facilities, mess hall and office set ups," he stated. 
 
"This was a great way to demonstrate the diversity of our equipment and our full product offering to both our existing and prospective clients, and highlight that we offer a 360 service – we are the single source solution for equipment rental across the entire GCC," noted Caygill.
