Bahrain's Osool Asset Management names new board

MANAMA, February 6, 2022

Osool Asset Management, the investment arm of the Social Insurance Organization, has appointed its new board of directors for a period of three years starting from 2022.
 
The new board boasts members with extensive experience and expertise across various fields including banking, finance, investment, risk management, business development, advisory, human capital, and information technology.
 
These are Mohammed Ebrahim Al Bastaki, Mishal Ali Al Hellow (representatives of the SIO) and Brigadier Hassan Ali Al Muhanna and Brigadier Adel Abdulla Amin ( representatives of Military Pension Fund) in addition to Yousif Abdulla Taqi and Dr Anwar Khalifa Al Sada as independent members.
 
The announcement was made following Osool’s Extraordinary General Assembly meeting, which concluded today (February 6) upon receiving approval from the regulatory authorities.
 
Osool Chairman Khalid Mohammed Najibi said: "I am pleased to extend my sincere congratulations to all board members. We look forward to working as a team and dedicating our efforts to providing best-in-class asset management services in light of the latest international practices and continue to achieve key milestones, remarkable results and greater success."
 
"We are confident that the new Board will work closely to ensure the delivery of exceptional results and will continue to develop the company’s strategies and plans while strengthening its asset management," stated Najibi.
