Dubai Cranes showcases capabilities at Arabal

MANAMA, November 20, 2019

Dubai Cranes & Technical Services, a subsidiary of Dubai Investments, is participating in the Arab International Aluminium Conference (Arabal) in Bahrain showcasing its capabilities.

With a new team of specialised design engineers and a newly established crane manufacturing plant in Turkey, Dubai Cranes is aiming to significantly enhance the technology associated with Electric Overhead Travelling (EOT) Cranes across the GCC and the MENA region while also maintaining cost effective solutions for companies to meet their process requirements, the company said.

Dubai Cranes is optimistic on the renewed expansion in the construction sector around the GCC with large-scale industrial projects in the pipeline and aims to capitalise with optimized crane services.

Over the past two years Dubai Cranes has successfully handed over 21 cranes to the Alba Line 6 Project in Bahrain, including heavy duty construction cranes for reduction, process cranes for the cast house, and cranes associated for the non-process areas.

“The experience and knowledge gained from working on the largest single site smelter in the world has encouraged us to further study the aluminium market in order to provide technical solutions that will enhance the production capabilities of any smelter where our products are used. Arabal is offering us an ideal platform to showcase our range of technologically advanced overhead material handling equipment suitable across all industries”, said Andrew Kay, general manager, Dubai Cranes & Technical Services.

The products offered at Dubai Cranes’ facilities are built and supplied to the highest standard with one of the world’s most comprehensive ranges of crane components with capacities from a few kilograms to 250 metric tonnes incorporating important safety and operating advantages which make the equipment particularly suited to conditions in the region.

Offering a portfolio of material handling solutions to a maximum lifting capacity of up to 300 tonnes, Dubai Cranes is well known for input and technological advancements of heavy-duty high capacity cranes used for both construction and process requirements. Complemented with rigorous safety inspections and preventive maintenance programmes, the upkeep of the equipment are ensured, eliminating potential safety hazards and minimising down time.

Comprising a team of personnel with more than 50 years of experience,  Dubai Cranes has delivered more than 1,500 cranes to the region and is working on many of the UAE’s  and the region’s leading industrial development projects. - TradeArabia News Service
