Ajman Bank partners with Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme

Ajman Bank, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, said it has signed an agreement with the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme (SZHP) to facilitate home finance solutions for Emirati citizens.

This strategic alliance demonstrates Ajman Bank's commitment to facilitate access to easy funding for Emirati nationals to enhance their lifestyle, stated CEO Mohamed Amiri, after signing the MoU with Mohammed Abdulla Lootah, general manager of Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme.

"We look forward to launching this exciting scheme that will benefit both new and existing customers as well as employees of Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme while enabling progress," he noted.
 
Lootah said the partnership with Ajman Bank would help SZHP fulfill its aspirations in ensuring adequate good quality housing for UAE nationals.

"It will allow us to diversify the financing options for projects that meet our standards. It is also an important step in increasing the pace, scale and quality of delivering new homes," he noted.

Kashif Amin Thakkur, the head of consumer banking at Ajman Bank, said as per the deal, Ajman Bank will provide customers and employees of Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme with finance services that meet the needs of Emirati citizens for housing loans covering residential properties in the UAE.

"Initiatives such as these are aimed at widening the availability of our competitive home loans while offering choice and convenience to our customers," he noted.

In addition, Ajman Bank will offer personal finance, vehicle finance and BRight Credit Card and other services related to the management and investment of the programme’s funds, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
