Bahrain plans to build first 'green' road

Bahrain is set to use recycled materials for construction of roads, in a first for the kingdom. The materials which have been recycled from building debris will be used for the pre-asphalt soil layers, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication, citing the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam Khalaf.
