Cofely Besix Facility Management (CBFM), a leading integrated facilities management provider, has appointed Miles Webb as its new chief operating officer for the Middle East region.

An industry veteran, Webb brings over 25 years global experience working as a senior operations director, and facilities and HSSEQ director within various international organisations to CBFM, said a statement from the company.

In his new role, Webb will continue to focus on safe working practices, operational excellence and maintaining innovative and market leading FM management systems to enhance CBFM’s clients core activities.  

His experience and skill-set centre around re-engineering processes, strategy definition, strong business management, budgetary and team building skills coupled with operational successes within a broad range of industries, namely manufacturing, construction, real estate, facilities management, energy (power and oil and gas), logistics and the Ministry of Defence (MOD), it stated.

On the appointment, Webb said: "I am delighted to join CBFM at a very exciting stage as their new chief operating officer."

CBFM, a joint venture between Cofely, a part of global energy leader Engie, and Belgian construction group Besix, was established in 2008 to provide first-class integrated facility management services in the Middle East.

The group has been present in the Middle East region for 30 years, where it develops large gas and power infrastructures and provides energy services.
