Bahrain sewerage network project nearing completion

Construction on the Sanad sewerage network project in Bahrain, which involves laying of 827-m-long main pipe connections, and building of 100 inspection chambers, is progressing well, said senior officials.

Tylos Excavations Company is in charge of the BD233,251 ($618,426) project at Sanad Block 745, said the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning in a statement.

With work in full swing about 76 per cent of the work has already been completed, revealed Nazha Abu Hindi, the sanitary engineering planning and projects director at the ministry.

According to Abu Hindi, the ministry managed to extend 1,100 m of main and sub-connections, constructed 57 inspection chambers and connected 31 houses to the network.

The project comprises of extending 827-m-long main connections, 566-m-long sub-connections, constructing 100 inspection chambers and connecting 90 houses and real estates to the network, she added.-TradeArabia News Service
