Behbehani starts work on Bahrain storage facility

Behbehani Brothers, a leader in the automotive business, said it has started construction of its new multi-storey car storage facility and logistics unit in Bahrain.
The project, a part of its strategic expansion programme, will help facilitate the expansion of the group’s operational function and offer further extended value-added services to its customers.
The contract has been awarded to leading construction company, Skyline Trading Corporation, in collaboration with Elevations Architects, SJM Engineering Consultants and Behbehani Solutions.
Scheduled for completion by first quarter of 2017, the facility will comprise a multi-storey car storage facility which can accommodate up to 1,000 cars, a public cafeteria, an additional nine quick service workbays, eight pre-delivery inspection bays, and a hitech workshop, said the company in a statement.
The facility will cater to customers of Volkswagen, Porsche, Cherokee, Jeep and Dodge who can enjoy a quick turnaround time for routine and minor service activities, it added.
Commenting on the project, Hussain Shirazi, the deputy executive director at Behbehani Brothers, said: "It is an investment which is an integral part of our long-term business strategy and we are pleased to announce that construction is underway."
