New GCC fund focuses on Indian real estate

A new fund that offers GCC investors an opportunity to invest in India’s mid-income residential real estate growth has been launched by global asset management firm ArthVeda Fund Management. With a corpus of $250 million, the Star Fund II is the first realty fund to be offered in the Gulf and other overseas markets, following the recent amendments to India’s foreign direct investment (FDI) policy in the realty segment, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
