Pegasus enters partnership with top real estate network

MANAMA, May 13, 2015

Bahrain-based Pegasus Real Estate has joined the largest global independent member-owned real estate network, the company's top official has said.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Gulf Property Show being held in the kingdom, Pegasus managing director Aziz Mithaiwala said the decision for Pegasus to join NAI Global makes good business sense, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

“Pegasus Real Estate NAI Bahrain combines in-depth knowledge of Bahrain's complex, ever-changing marketplace and a wide range of real-estate services, including office leasing, retail leasing, property management services and residential multi-family sales and leasing.

“We found the other members to be like-minded in their philosophies - dedicated to the highest levels of service and professionalism,” he said.

“And now that we are part of NAI Global, we can offer our clients access to local experts anywhere in the world, and our employees expanded opportunities for skills development and career exploration.”

NAI Global president Jay Olshonsky said Bahrain's commercial real estate market continues to be attractive to locals, other Arab nationals and expatriates throughout the region.

“It was critically important that we select a firm with deep local market knowledge and the ability to act quickly and creatively to secure the best opportunities,” he said.

According to Olshonsky, factors such as demand from local and regional investors and individuals, attractive mortgage rates, ease of property purchase, residency incentives and zero taxation policies were driving demand for property in Bahrain.

“There is no doubt that growth in Bahrain's overall real estate market is on the rise, particularly in the multi-family and retail sectors,” said Olshonsky.

“However, as we've seen across historical market cycles, there will always be demand for quality properties in this market. Our team at NAI Bahrain is particularly well-suited to react to all market conditions.”
