BAGHDAD, March 16, 2015

Iraq has given the green light for 60 new power projects worth $218 million to be built in the Basra governorate in its budget for 2015, reported Iraq Business News.

Basra approved a budget of $3.6 billion for 2015, but was allocated only $1.11 billion by Baghdad due to dropping oil prices and increase in military spending, according to a Basra official, the report added, citing Emirates 24|7.
